Let’s Learn! is a global learning and teaching community
with ties to innovative educational, cultural,

Join Melissa Meyer and Desire Wandan for a dive into Lois Holzman’s The Overweight Brain. Through selected chapters and group dialogue, participants will explore how the belief that knowing is required for growth can limit creativity, risk-taking, and our capacity to create something new. Together, the group will explore “non-knowing growing” and learn about key influences, including developmental psychologist, Lev Vygotsky and philosopher, Ludwig Wittgenstein. No prior familiarity is needed.
A 4-Week Group
Mondays, Oct 5, 12, 19, 26 | 6 - 7:30pm ($175 | $125 | $60 | Sliding Scale) Click here to convert to your time zone
Helen Abel (USA) and Nicola Pauling (NZ) invite you to play with the experience of aging, to explore and reshape how we relate to being older and being seen as older. Together, we’ll discover creative ways to respond to physical changes and illness, to give and receive care, and to honour our right to lifelong development.

Building a meaningful life is something we can do together. Through conversation, improvisation, readings, and group-building, you’ll discover how to live more socially—and build your life with others.

Mark Twain, Pablo Neruda, Ursula K. Le Guin, Nazim Hikmet, Lev Vygotsky, Bayo Akomolafe, Mahatma Gandhi and many others have given us words that can stop us, move us, make us think and feel—and suddenly help us see differently. Join Lois Holzman as together we open our ears and hearts, roll up our sleeves, and play with their provocations drawn from her Words to Ponder archive. Together we will spark our imagination and widen our gaze, question assumptions and make new, unexpected connections.
The Radical Therapist: The Stories We Live By
In this episode of All Power to the Developing, Desire Wandan talks with Dr. Chris Hoff—narrative therapist, educator, author, and host of The Radical Therapist podcast. Chris shares his journey to narrative therapy and explores identity, relationships, radical helping, imagination, and the stories we tell about ourselves. What becomes possible when we challenge inherited stories and create new ones together?
